Our Attorneys

Daniel T. Montoya, Esq.

Proudly Serving Velarde, and Northern New Mexico.

I have deep roots in New Mexico having spent many summers and winter breaks in my youth on my grandparent's farm in Peñasco, New Mexico.  I am a longtime resident of Northern New Mexico with decades of experience providing legal and fiduciary services from Taos to Albuquerque, and many years of practicing law in New York City. As a Columbia Law School alumni, I am committed to providing clear, practical legal help to my neighbors—built on respect, honesty, and genuine care for the families and communities that surround my office in Velarde, New Mexico.

William P. Dunn, Esq.

Proudly Serving Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Southern New Mexico.

I was born and raised in Albuquerque and have spent my entire life in New Mexico. After graduating from St. Pius X High School, I spent five years in Las Cruces earning my degree from New Mexico State University and becoming deeply connected to the communities in Southern New Mexico. My legal career has been dedicated to serving New Mexicans through elder law, estate planning, probate, guardianships, conservatorships, and Medicaid planning. Whether working with families in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or in Southern New Mexico, I am committed to providing clear, compassionate, and practical guidance. New Mexico is my home, and I am grateful for the chance to give back to the communities that have given so much to me.

A Love for New Mexico

For Daniel T. Montoya, New Mexico is more than the place he practices law—it’s home. Outside the office, Daniel enjoys exploring the state’s diverse landscapes and documenting them through photography. From dramatic desert sunsets and mountain vistas to historic villages and quiet back roads, his photographs reflect the beauty, history, and spirit of the communities he has served throughout his career.

Many of the images featured throughout this website were captured by Daniel during his travels across New Mexico. They represent the people, places, and traditions that make our state unique and remind us why preserving a family’s legacy is so important. Just as every photograph tells a story, every family has a story worth protecting for generations to come.
